The former Ghana international Junior Agogo, who played for Nottingham Forest ,Bristol Rovers and several other clubs has died at the age of 40.
Agogo, started his football career at Sheffield Wednesday, played 27 times for his country and scored 12 goals, he was the poster boy for the 2008 African Cup of Nations, a tournament he performed very well.
He suffered a stroke attack in 2017 and hard difficulties speaking afterwards.
His former clubs have sent in tributes across their social media handles.
