Ghanaians are split over former President John Dramani Mahama’s comment that, the 2024 elections will be a ‘do or die’ affair.
While on his ‘Thank you’ tour of the country,the outspoken former president speaking on Akina FM in the Bono Region said,the NDC had learnt a lesson from the 2020 polls. He revealed that the 2020 election was not free and fair.
He said, the NDC is going to be vigilant in the 2024 polls and make sure they win the election at the polling station and not wait for collation centre results. He added that,the 2024 elections must be free and fair .

Some Ghanaians have condemned the comment tagging it as violent, whiles others feel the comment is harmless and on point,a source of motivation for the youth.
