Even though we don’t have Kanye West’s new album Jesus Is King just yet, IMAX has announced it’s releasing the album’s companion film.

“Filmed in the summer of 2019, Jesus Is King brings Kanye West’s famed Sunday Service to life in the Roden Crater, visionary artist James Turrell’s never-before-seen installation in Arizona’s Painted Desert,” a press release said about the film. “This one-of-a-kind experience features songs arranged by West in the gospel tradition along with music from his new album Jesus Is King—all presented in the immersive sound and stunning clarity of IMAX.”

According to reports, Kanye West, during his Album Listening session in his Home Town of Chicago annouced that he is no longer going to be making secular music,(HipHop)- a genre he is most famous for.

Andrew Barber of FakeShoreDrive was in attendance and shared this on his twitter page,

The beats on the songs are said to be FIRE.

Kanye plans on hosting one last listening event in New York before dropping Jesus Is King.
