Wesley Sneijder, Dutch midfielder maestro has retired from active football after 12 years.
He played for Ajax Amsterdam and won the Eredivise league and two KNVB. In 2007 he joined Real Madrid in a £18.3m deal, he won the Spanish LA liga once before joining Inter Milan in 2009/2010 season.
Wesley Sneijder won the European Champions League, coppa Italia 2 , all with interest Milan. He later move to Galatasary in turkey for an undisclosed fee,  won the Turkish league twice and three turkey cups.

Sneijder played 709 games for both club and country, 134 caps for the Dutch national team.
He was adjudged one of the best players in the world in 2010 placing third behind Leonel Messi and Andreas Iniesta after helping his national side to the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa but couldn’t win it.
